Dona paula

Dona Paula is a famous tourist destination, in the suburbs of Panaji. Dona Paula Bay is where two of Goa's famous rivers meet the Arabian sea. Named after Dona Paula de Menezes, it's also called the Lovers Paradise.
The main attractions of Dona Paula Beach are the lovely scenic view of the meeting place of two local rivers, namely Zuari and Mandovi.
National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) is also situated near to Donapaula bay.

By Train

Madgaon station to Donapaula (36km)

From Madgaon Station, come to Kadamba Bus Stand. Take a non stop bus to Panaji. From Kadamba, from Panaji change for Donapaula Panaji to Donapaula(6 km)

You can get down at Thivim railway station, its between Madgoan and Sawanthwadi. From Thivim to Dona Paula is 29 km. (We dont recoment this rute because The Thivim Railway station is small and most of the train might pass it by. It depends on the train.)

By air
